Zeeland East senior Olivia VanderKooy teamed up with ZPS Food Service this summer through a new partnership with the National Honor Society! Olivia helped collect data during our summer meal kit distribution, getting a firsthand look at the work behind feeding local families. And what a summer it was! Approximately 82,180 meals distributed. An estimated $180,000 saved in family grocery budgets. Thousands of pounds of fresh, local produce shared with families. We're proud of Olivia, our incredible Food Service team, and the local farm partners who helped make this summer a success. Learning for life. Making a difference right here at home. 

Talk about leaving your mark! Zeeland East alum Sierra zurBurg earned a perfect 100/100 on her AP 2-D Art and Design portfolio, becoming just the second student in ZPS history to earn every possible point.

Zeeland Public Schools Nutrition Services is continuing its commitment to families this summer through the “Meet Up and Eat Up” summer meal program, providing free meals for children ages 18 and younger. This year, 192 families are currently signed up, representing more than 500 children.
