Holland/Zeeland Promise Scholarship
Seniors: The Holland/Zeeland Promise Scholarship is a full-support scholarship providing financial assistance to highly motivated seniors who desire to attend college but have high financial need. Students interested in being nominated for this scholarship can find more scholarship details and complete the interest form linked HERE by Friday, October 23.
2027-28 FAFSA
Seniors/Senior Parents: The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) is NOW AVAILABLE. Submitting the FAFSA is the first step to qualifying for student grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and loans for post-secondary education. It also helps determine eligibility for most state aid programs, like the Michigan Achievement Scholarship, which can cover up to $27,500 for college. Please follow the steps outlined in this letter.
Careerline Tech Center Open House

GRCC Dual Enrollment Info Sessions
GRCC will be hosting virtual dual enrollment information sessions this fall for students/parents interested in learning more about the opportunity to take college classes while in high school. Register through this link.
Michigan College Month
October is Michigan College Month! Check out the schools that waive application fees during the month of October, or have no application fees at all HERE! Plan your college applications accordingly, but we do recommend that all applications are complete by November 1 for timely admissions and scholarship consideration.
PSAT/NMSQT
Juniors interested in taking the fall PSAT/NMSQT on October 27 can register HERE by Friday, 10/2 at 3:00 p.m. This is an OPTIONAL test to prepare for the SAT. It is also the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarship consideration. Cost is $20. The late test registration window runs from 10/2 to noon on 10/9 at a cost of $30. No registrations will be accepted after the late deadline.
Senior Year Counseling Meeting
Seniors/Senior Parents: Here is the slideshow from the fall senior counseling meeting. Please review the information in the presentation and utilize this senior year planning checklist for information relevant to your last year of high school. It is very important that you complete the senior survey in order to inform your counselor if you would like to schedule an individual meeting to review post-high plans and ask questions.
